KG-1
This group consists of kids between 3.5 years and above. There is specific syllabus for this group. The assessment system includes the following:
a) Continuous assessment by the Class Teacher
b) Monthly GK test and rhyme tests (oral)
c) Monthly written tests for Math and English.
d) Annual written exam for Math and English
KG-2
This group consists of kids between 4.5 years and above. There is specific syllabus for this group. The assessment structure includes the following:
a) Continuous assessment by the Class Teacher
b) Weekly tests in English after completion each concept.
c) Twice a month written tests for Math.
d) Monthly GK test and rhyme tests (oral)
e) Annual written exam for Math, English and General Knowledge.
Continuous Assessment
The continuous assessment by the teachers is based on students performance in the class, their activities and behaviour, their communication and interaction with the teachers and other students. The teachers observe the progress of each child and report it to the Head Mistress every month. The Head Mistress reviews the development pattern of each child and helps the teachers to customize teaching pattern accordingly.
Report Card
A written report card is issued indicating the academic and behavioural performance of the student at the end of KG-1 and KG-2.
The results of the weekly and monthly tests are communicated to the parents through the notes on the notebooks and by sending the answer sheets with the students for the parents review.
